Works as advertised

I decided to purchase the SUMMIT QAPL with IWB adapter as an alternative for when appendix becomes cumbersome. The holster I use is a Tenicor certum with a Glock 26.5 mos.

The adapter doesnt hold the weight too well with a full 10 round mag and holosun eps carry. The pistol tends to sag outwards and the edges of the adapter are not making contact with the velcro. Laterally there is no movement from the adapter so it allows for a good draw. The holster does tend to wiggle around a bit inside the adapter even though its threaded through my DCC clips. If i were to purchase again id get the holster as im not fully satisfied with only the awb adapter.

Overall quality of the bag is on par with the price. Buckles seem to be robust plastic. I opted for the summit material because the cordura seemed to be too thick for daily use i needed something light and moisture wicking. I saw some reviews online showing the cordura retaining some water. So far the summit material holds up well to moisture. I compare it to the material of a puffer jacket but without the inner stuffing.

On to the straps. Included are the main strap and waistband elastic. The waist strap is more to be used during runs or hikes as it looks more suspicious when used with casual clothing. Ive been carrying it crossbody using the main strap. For the price the material used as the strap is a little thin. Not similar to seatbelt material more like a very thin webbed nylon belt. The weight of my pistol tends to cause the bag to move position frequently. It always slides under my left arm when positioned in the center of my body. If you dont use the included waist strap it will constantly move around due to the weight. I carry a spare 15 round mag in the optional mag carrier, my wallet and keys. I recommend the shoulder saver strap cover because it digs into my neck bad at times.

Overall it does what is advertised but for the price id expect a tiny bit more from the actual buckles and straps it seems like the main focus is the pouch itself which is fine because it holds the firearm. Considering that, the straps should also be fitted with some sort of anti slip grip on the underside and a thicker type of nylon strap.

I messaged support when i recieved the bag due to it not fully deploying and the bag panels being a tiny bit off center. The fix was to make sure youre carrying something in the front pouch so the weight lets it fall freely otherwise only the side you pull the tab from will open and the muzzle will remain covered.

It does what it is designed to do. The stitching and material is quality but could be improved. If you use this thing daily you will see wear and tear so consider only using this for runs or times when appendix is not an option. Opt in for the holster do not use the adapter as its unstable and the velcro coverage depends on the weight of your pistol. For pistols Glock 19-26size and larger go for the QAPL AND QAPXL. Glock 26 with eps carry and pierce pinky extension fits perfectly centered in the bag with about 1 inch all round for adjustment.
