QAPS LOW PROFILE CORDURA® CONCEALMENT BAG (SMALL) BLACK WITH IWB ADAPTER

Perspective: Using 3 days a week for EDC for the last 2 months as a mom of a 9-12 month old. I practice drawing several times before each use. S&W Bodyguard 2.0 380.

How I typically use: Fanny pack style for errands, stroller walks, hiking

Long story short - quality bag that allows me to carry when I couldn’t otherwise, but I have some adjustments that would make it even better as a little mama

Pros:
- High quality bag, both materials and construction
- High quality holster, both material and construction with relief on fold for an even tight fit - I really like my eclipse IWB holster and the 945 holster lived up to the expectations that one set
- Holster backing with Velcro flexes (it’s thin but seems sturdy) to fit more compactly against my body
- Great for when I’m wearing athletic shorts or leggings and wouldn’t otherwise be able to carry
- Super quick to put on & buckle is super secure
- Straps can be attached at different angles to the bag which is great for crossbody running with the stretchy extra strap or as a fanny pack for every day use
- Works well as a fanny pack when front carrying a baby in a carrier when IWB isn’t an option
- Bodyguard 2.0 fits easily in this bag and can be angled to where the barrel is almost pointed right at the ground in fanny pack style

Cons
- Strap needs to be tightened every use and sometimes again during use
- Strap is very long and continuous, and as a petite woman this means I end up with a big loop in the bad wearing Fanny pack style that I can’t secure - not great to have a big handle on the back of me to grab if I was in a self defense situation
- Even with the all black style, the pull tab is very interesting to my little one who will walk over to me and try to grab it or play with the zippers - this also makes crossbody while holding him a poor option
- I’m often carrying my little in one arm so I practice drawing one handed and this bag is definitely trickier to use one handed as the pull tab can flap back and get in the way of drawing the gun, but the zipper is hard to get all the way undone so the front would just hang down in one pull
- The extra mag pouch is too loose for a 380 mag and it has fallen out on me a few times when practicing drawing
- The bag mostly stays put, but it does slide a little more then I’d like at times where a non slip material on the back would be nice as an option (I get this isn’t always wanted, so maybe a way to Velcro a nonslip patch to the back?)
- The pocket closest to my body is so difficult to access - if it was an open pocket or small Velcro in the middle I could maybe slide my phone in there which would free up the front for keys
- The front pocket will only fit my phone, not also my keys unless I don’t plan to get either out until I returned home
- Not a con on this bag specifically, but something to note for crossbody bags if carrying a little often, the barrel does end up being pointed at where my little one sits on my hip if I carry crossbody and this just doesn’t give me the warm and fuzzies so I avoid crossbody unless he is strictly in the stroller for a run where I need the extra strap to keep the bag secure and out of the way of my legs

I love this bag I just wish that it came with the strap cushion.

This bag is a great size for my P365 and a mag! I keep the CCW license in the zipper pocket and it always ready to go. Get the shoulder pad for the strap!
