The holster and Velcro material themselves are great. Especially the hold and strength of the Velcro.. it’s unreal! My holster was fitted for an FN 509c, “C” meaning “Compact!” What I don’t like is how long the slide to muzzle area is. It literally will fit a Full Sized FN 509. I just believe since I specifically entered I had the compact version, and since the Holster is supposedly made to order, hence why a disclaimer repeatedly says it wouldn’t ship for 5 business days —Why not truly customize it for the firearm I actually have?

I just don’t appreciate the cookie cutter, one size fits all approach resulting in roughly 1 in of extra, but unusable material hanging off the muzzle of my carry pistol. In 2025 it’s lazy, and I expected more. The Kydex while not the best, does feel solid, and again the Velcro and holding power are amazing! To their credit, it actually shipped a day or 2 earlier than anticipated, so I do applaud their promptness.

I’m in no way bashing 945 Industries, but I know I could’ve got a better fitting Kydex holster elsewhere, because I already own 3 of them from 2 competing companies, and 2/3 are considerably lower in price, while also having smoother and superior Kydex!

I paired my 945 Industries Velcro holster with a bag I bought elsewhere, and the materials and construction are equal to what’s offered here, and at a much better price point.

All in all, the only part of my purchase I’m 100% satisfied with is the strength of the Velcro. So unfortunately my first time shopping with this company undoubtedly is also my last.

Just my honest 2 cents and no intention on bashing the folks at 945. I’m sure they’re all wonderful people who take pride in the products they create. This review is in hope an attempt to help the company and consumer both, so we all win!

The 945 bag and holster combo is the best. I changed from one firearm to a different one by adding another holster. The customer service is great!
